The Alkemy X team shared their recent watchlist with us. Check out their picks (and reviews) to discover your next favorite watch. (Hint, hint - lots of us are hooked on The White Lotus and Severance!)

The White Lotus

“I wasn't getting into the first few episodes this season, but I am all in now. Mike White is pretty brilliant.” - Amy Sweeney

★★★★★

“Very good.” - Bob Schachner

★★★★★

“White Lotus is a fun escape” - Justin Wineburgh

★★★★☆

Zero Day

“Halfway through the episodes. A little slow but finally getting more interesting.”  - Mark Reidenauer

★★★★☆

1923

“1923 (the Yellowstone prequel series)  is a wild, at times scary, ride about times not long ago in the western US.” - Justin Wineburgh

★★★★☆

Severance

“As a film nerd, I'm so impressed with the shooting techniques and editorial choices they made in this show.  Who knew that the guy from Zoolander was so technically creative?!” - Ryan Sun

★★★★☆

“Fantastic. Goat lady for the win!!” - Frank Rocks

★★★★★

“Severance, The Righteous Gemstones, I'm Still Here, Mythic Quest, The Studio, The White Lotus, The Pitt, Adolescence - There are so many good shows on right now!” - Dustin Carpio

★★★★★

Mikey 17

“This is the most recent movie I saw in theaters. I went in knowing nothing about it, just to expect some weird stuff. It was terrifically weird and entertaining, not what I was expecting from Bong Joon Ho, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Robert Pattinson was seriously incredible; his character work was pretty awesome. A fun watch for sure with thought-provoking, albeit morbid, revelations throughout. - Olivia Rotondo

★★★★☆

Taskmaster UK

“Taskmaster has such a simple concept of a game show where 5 comedians/comedy actors are asked to do tasks that are then judged by UK Comedian Greg Davies. It's however, an incredibly funny show which I enjoy when I'm in the need for something fun and light. You come to sympathize with each contestant and wonder yourself how well you would do if you were in the same situation. It's been on the air in the UK since 2015 and the newest Season 19 is premiering this year. The episodes are available on Youtube and I recommend watching the original UK series before watching any other countries spinoff versions. Your time starts now.” - Kristin Riccio

The Pitt

“It’s incredible!!” - Jessica Cook
